You are invited to the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Right to Life Association of Thunder Bay and Area.

WHEN: Tuesday April 23th, 2024
Symposium 6:30 p.m., AGM call to order 7:00 p.m., Keynote Speakers 7:45 p.m.

WHERE: The Summit Church, 515 Syndicate Avenue, Thunder Bay

KEYNOTE SPEAKERS: Dr. Jaro Kotalik and David Shannon are editors of the book “Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) in Canada. (A copy of the book will be the door prize for this gathering!)

Light refreshments will be provided. While this invitation is extended to all, Members only are eligible to vote on business matters. Feel free to pass out the enclosed poster to friends or colleagues or post on your refrigerator as a reminder. To help us with planning, a confirmation of your attendance would be appreciated below by Thursday, April 18th.

If you are interested in serving on the Right to Life Board, please prayerfully discern and make your intentions known by April 15th by sending an email to info@thunderbay.life  Nominations for the Board will be an agenda item at the AGM.

Also on the Agenda will be the approval of the By-laws, modified to meet Ontario government regulations by the October 2024 deadline. (Note that we employed the lawyer who updated By-laws for most of the Right to Life groups that fall within the Alliance for Life Ontario (AFLO) affiliation. The revised By-laws will be part of the AGM package that will be available to be picked up on April 23rd during the Symposium. Members wanting to review a copy before the day of the meeting can request a copy via email at info@thunderbay.life by Thursday, April 18th.
