I sent an email to my MP, Marcus Powlowski regarding Bill C-218 to protect people with mental illnesses from being offered suicide as an easy “treatment”.

1. Visit The Campaign Life Coalition Website at https://www.campaignlifecoalition.com/action-alert-emails
2. Click on Bill C-218 Protects the Mentally Ill from MAID
3. I opened up the form and I filled in my address, and it automatically selected my Member of Parliament, Marcus Powlowski.
4. Then I clicked on “Switch Message” to choose a pre-written message that particularly resonated with me. I chose the first one.
5. Then I added a personalized introduction, writing two sentences about my concern regarding a family member with a mental illness. I also adjusted the subject. You don’t need to do this, but it contributes to the influence of your email.
6. Then I added my other information, to assure my MP that I am his constituent.

Then I clicked “Send Message.”
